The annual conference, Board of Directors meeting, and awards banquet is the principal event of The National GEM Consortium’s fiscal year.

This year presents a special occasion as the national nonprofit corporation celebrates a historic 30 years of providing talented African American, American Indian, and Hispanic American students access to graduate education in science and engineering and credentials for leadership careers. With a projected attendance of 400 guests at the conference and gala, this event can provide sponsors an opportunity to be prominently recognized as supporters of one of the nation’s leading diversity organizations. Guests include state and local legislators, members of the nation’s academic and business communities, and students pursuing advanced degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Proceeds from the 30th Anniversary Gala benefit The National GEM Consortium’s endowment and support graduate fellowship awards.
