Currently working in Dr. Elizabeth Friis’s Biomaterials Lab. The research they are conducting is for developing and manufacturing a piezoelectric composite device for improving bone growth in spinal fusion through electrical stimulation. Brandon would like to work at a place where he could apply the information and skills mastered from previous employment and graduate studies.
His best advice for a prospective graduate student is to talk with the professors early and often. Professors are extremely helpful in finding research, funding, and a teaching assistant position.
