Robert Golsby is from Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati and is currently a second year PhD student. While at the University of Cincinnati Golsby remained actively involved in the community through mentoring, creating teen programs and helping young adults understand the importance of education and he co-oped with the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), General Electric (GE) & Sabic Innovative Plastics in Indiana.
After graduating from the University of Cincinnati he moved to Knoxville, Tennessee and started researching early at the University of Tennessee, during the summer after graduation. Currently, he is a TA at the University of Tennessee researching under the field of Energy Storage with a focus on “Redox Flow Batteries.”
