Victor Robles is a fifth year PhD candidate in the Electrical and computer engineering department at the University of Iowa. Victor was born and raised in the small border town of Douglas, AZ. Former sundevil from Arizona State University where he acquired his BSE in Electrical Engineering and is currently doing work in the VA Center for the Prevention and Treatment for Visual Loss, looking at the effect of central corneal thickness and its relation to glaucoma and blindness, under the supervision of Drs. Mona Garvin and Randy Kardon. Goals include obtaining his PhD, and working with the industry’s leading R&D labs. His hobbies are a curious crafter, who has a multitude of interest including calligraphy, board games, and weightlifting.
