Lee Wills- Irvine leads Women and Cultural Initiatives related to Global Diversity & Inclusion at Qualcomm. This includes the assessing and addressing of specific business unit operations, managing differences, increasing awareness, preventing and addressing Employee Relations issues related to Diversity. External responsibilities include communication & outreach. She oversees training to ensure Diversity is woven throughout Qualcomm to provide a competitive advantage. Lee’s work assisted Qualcomm receiving the Athena Pinnacle Award, Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association Corporate Leadership Award for Diversity, Higginbotham Corporate Leadership Award for Diversity. Lee helped design and manage Qualcomm’s Women’s Mentoring Program. She also is a part of the team that developed the Athena Mentoring Program. Lee worked as a Staffing Manager. She directed the careers web site, sponsorships and worldwide recruitment messaging. Lee has developed partnerships with academic institutions for online learning. Lee has also been responsible for the development and presentation of employee on-boarding and for administration of benefits and health plans. Lee has a passion for Math/Science Education and is engaged with Corporate Social Responsibility. Lee serves as a member of the National Center for Women in Information Technology (NCWIT) and is the Past Chair of the Urban League of San Diego. She previously served on the board of LEAD San Diego. Lee has presented at Diversity SHRM Workshops and the BDPA Conference.
