Nancy Yurek is the corporate controller at MITRE responsible for corporate accounting, corporate wide financial planning and analysis, strategic and business analytics and oversight of both internal and external audit activity.

Prior to joining MITRE in September of 2007, Ms. Yurek was VP of Finance at Perot Systems Government Services (PSGS)  a role she had held for the previous 5 years.  While at PSGS, Ms Yurek supervised the integration of two major acquisitions into the financial infrastructure of the organization as it grew from a $60m organization to a $600m business.  Prior to joining PSGS, Ms. Yurek held the position of Corporate Controller at American Management Systems, Inc., (AMS),   a $1.3b mulit-national IT consulting company.  During her tenure as corporate controller at AMS, Ms. Yurek had responsibility for all corporate accounting, accounting operations, corporate tax, corporate budgeting and forecasting, analysis, international accounting operations and business risk management, and financial systems development and operations.

Ms. Yurek holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and a BS degree in mathematics from Wilkes University.
