Dr. Jasmine Davenport Crenshaw is an engineer, speaker, and author with over ten years of experience in research and development. She is passionate about the recruitment, retention, and graduation of students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). She holds a Bachelor of Science in physics from North Carolina A&T State University, Master of Science in materials science from the University of Florida, and Doctorate in materials science and engineering from the University of Florida. During her tenure at the University of Florida, she was a GEM Fellow and interned with the Eastman Kodak Company. Dr. Crenshaw is the founder of Mind Over Matter Consulting, where she builds competence, confidence, and collaboration for individuals in STEM. Her appointments include: Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Postdoctoral fellow, University of Richmond Department of Biology; University of Richmond Integrated Science Experience (URISE) Program Director; Department of Defense (DoD) Systems Engineer.
