GEM Alumni make GEM a vital organization for under-represented minorities in engineering and sciences today. We thank you for your hard work and we will continue to keep you involved in the GEM community both as participants and role models.

GEM staff will be attending national events such as AISES, NSBE, and SHPE. Your presence at these events will be an outstanding testimonial of the GEM Fellowship program.

Alumni In Action

Have you answered the call to help others similar to the way you were helped?

The GEM Alumni in Action program offers an opportunity to strengthen the Consortium that allowed you to earn an advanced degree in Engineering and Science.  By funding PhD fellowships, alumni can build the engineering workforce for the future.  Imagine, the GEM Alumni are close to 3,000 strong and are becoming the third pillar of GEM, along with the Employer and University members.  Please join the GEM Alumni Association, donate to the GEM Alumni Sponosred Fellowship Program, volunteer as  GEM Ambassador at your employer, and participate in the many GEM information sessions held around the country.

Your continued support is greatly appreciated to ensure the sustainability of programs that are truly making an impact in increasing the diversity of STEM graduate programs.
