Dr. Louis Martin-VegaDr. Louis Martin-Vega, Dean College of Engineering, North Carolina State, who also serves on GEM's Executive Committee congratulated Dr. May on Friday.

Gary has played a tremendous role in developing programs for GEM. His commitment to advancing under-represented minority participation at the graduate level in STEM is clear. We at GEM are truly pleased to hear of his appointment to become the next Dean of Engineering at Georgia Tech!

GEM 35This year marks the 35th Anniversary of the National GEM Consortium. We will celebrate this milestone with a 35th Anniversary Fundraising Gala featuring nationally recognized celebrity hosts and entertainment on August 3-5, 2011. GEM's President, Alfred Grasso will host a CEO Roundtable, and Georgia Tech's President, Dr. Bud Peterson will convene a University President Roundtable.
