From coast to coast, the GAA holds a variety of alumni networking events focused on reengaging with GEM Fellows that have gone on to successful careers in academia, industry, and entrepreneurial ventures. The networking socials allow GEM alumni from 1976 to the present to reconnect with one another, and the GEM mission, while the GAA Annual Conference offer networking as well as professional development.

The GEM Alumni Association Socials are held in public venues in major cities during/or around a GEM GRAD Lab or a national diversity STEM event where both local GEM alumni and alum traveling to the event can network. Examples of past GEM Alumni socials include:
Complimentary access, through RSVPing on-line, is provided to all current paid GAA Members. GEM Alumni that are not paid members of GAA can RSVP and register for events for a nominal fee. To become a GAA member or renew your membership, please log in to eGEM using the email address you used at time of application for the fellowship. . If you do not remember the email you used when you applied (or email did not exist when you applied) please contact us at info@gemfellowship.org and we will assign you an account and temporary password.
